If ever there was a time to take a good look at telehealth options. I have been using telehealth for my therapy and the usual urgent care needs for about two years. Since we travel full-time, it just made sense. Wherever I am, I have access to my medical professionals. I don’t have to go over my whole history every time I need medical attention. I’ve never had a problem with connections or the quality of care. For me, it is absolutely stunning to me that I can be looking out of my windshield wherever I am and still have access to my therapist.
Even if we didn’t travel, I would still use telehealth. There are some days I can’t get from the bed to the chair, and there is no way I’m going to make it to a check-up. Know what I’m talking about, Spoonies? Telehealth just makes a lot of sense to me.
I urge you to look into your medical insurance coverage for telehealth options. If you have inadequate insurance or none at all, you can look into a sliding scale.
