A few days ago I found out that Brent Johnson was going to be on the Washington Capitals pre-game show. Of course I DVR’d it — he looked a bit nervous but he was fantastic. Didn’t mince words, didn’t try to play the middle like SO many do, and didn’t try to create a shit storm like JR (ugh that guy makes me grumpy). Anyhow back to Johnny. I am hoping that he gets to do this kind of thing more often.
If he is reading this – or anyone who can tell him about this … Beej — DO MORE STUFF, even if you have to start your own YouTube channel. Brent Johnson has seen a lot of hockey and he has it in his blood. He knows hockey, he knows goalies … share that knowledge with us.
I know goalies catch a lot of shit because it seems like the entire game rides on their shoulders and they are an easy excuse for a loss but goalies are gold in my book. They are the heart of the game. They have to take a beating (some times literally) and still stand on their head.
The world needs more Brent Johnson BAMFy goodness.
