My Boyfriend

Hubby calls Gerard Butler my boyfriend. And I’m not complaining. I am just wondering how many fantasy boyfriends can a girl have before she crosses the line in the slutdom? Oh I know – Gerry and I have an open relationship. (Does that take the slutdom down a notch?)

I ask because I have a new Beau. He has been around for a while and I have enjoyed his work and he has certainly caught my eye — but not like now. I speak of Timothy Olyphant.

He has been in several favorites but those characters didn’t make me stand up and notice until Raylan Givens in Justified. I think it may be that Timothy is getting older and his hair is getting a little grey — I dig that in a man. He can be the Humpday Hottie for a month of Wednesdays and it wouldn’t be enough.

YUM.

If you aren’t watching Justified (on FX) you are missing out. It is funny, intense and sexy as all get out.

My Boyfriend

I love my husband. He is so wonderful he recorded an interview of Gerard Butler. Not only did he hit record as soon as he saw Gerry on the tv he comes to bed and says “Your boyfriend is on tv, don’t worry I recorded it.”

So I just finished watching Gerard Butler on the Jonathan Ross Show. Love it. Gerry is brilliant. And according to my husband … Gerry is my boyfriend.

Slacker

Yeah I know I haven’t posted much and I missed the HDH.

Tuesday afternoon we had a thrilling thunderstorm roll through and with a crack that seemed to be right on top of us the whole park lost tv and internet. Finally got it back early Wednesday evening. Add to that my laptop has been acting hinky. So I haven’t been doing too much lately. I have been cleaning, rearranging furniture and reading. So there is that. = )

But yes I am aware that I am a slacker.

She is smart, beautiful, loves tattoos — really what more could you want in a HDH.

I first saw her in the first Transformer flick. But she has been on tv shows for a few years now. She has been really busy since the big screen debut. Look to see her in more stuff. Or just look for her images on google and enjoy. I give you MEGAN FOX. hubba hubba

Humpday Hottie

Michael and I spent a few days in Luray, VA this week and we had a lot of fun.

We went to the Luray Rescue Zoo. We met “Homer”. Homer is an Alligator Turtle. This turtle was captivating. He barely moved at first — then slowly rose to the top for water and stayed there for a while.

We chatted with Mark at the Zoo about this incredible animal and I have to say I was just enthralled with him. He is by general standards .. ugly. But I thought he was a beautiful and interesting creature.

We learned that Homer was approximately 200 years old and that he had been with Mark for 30 years and has barely grown .5 inch in that time. These turtles are now a protected species and unlike the myths of snapping turtles being vicious they are really quite gentle with their prey and the first “strike” is just checking things out. Which means if you know what you are doing around the animals and don’t poke, provoke, or act stupid – you should be fine.

I watched Homer for 30 minutes and his eyes were intelligent and all of the information Mark gave me about this creature was a gift. Thanks Mark – we loved the time we spent there and will be back!!

Humpday Hottie

The return of famed Humpday Hottie (aka HDH). I wish I hadn’t lost the archives from when I was blogging before – I picked some pretty tasty HDHs. But I guess it just gives me a chance to pick the same people again — tho, first time around there were a couple of HDHs that were picked twice — or more *grins*.

For HDH 2.0 I am hoping to present some new (at least new to me) faces and spread the hotness.

This hottie is beyond HAWT!! He is a model, actor, Greek god. Seriously.

Theo Theodoris is my first pick for HDH 2.0 for good reason … just look. Beautiful.

I can’t really find out much about him — except a lot of pictures, and he had a calendar last year … but once you look into those eyes, that seems to be enough.  Now before, and I hope again, the HDH isn’t just eye candy.  There is a little more to the person than how tasty they appear – as I am certain this could be the case with Mr. Theo Doro — but I just don’t know enough about him to swear to it.  So, for now … just enjoy the hottness that is before you.

Now, wipe off the drool and get back to work!!

HDH returns

For those of you that frequented the old site – you may remember the Humpday Hottie feature.

Every (just about anyway) Wednesday I would feature a hottie.

I don’t have the old blog archived so I don’t know the former HDHs but I can tell you for sure Tommy Lee Jones, Christopher Walken, Hal Sparks, Monica Bellucci, BLUE Ajay, Elvis Presley, and my husband Michael made it.

It is going to be about the same around — nothing special … just my own personal tribute to the people I think deserve the HOT title.
