Harry Connick, Jr is a hep cat – I dig his sway. But for the love of Elvis why the fuck did he have to cover an Elvis tune. Why does anyone ever assume that they can cover Elvis love songs?? Just stop right there. I get wanting to cover the rockabilly, the rock, and pop but the love songs. Who on this planet things they can do it justice much less better.

Harry sweetie I love yah but really. If you were gonna do it — you should have put more YOU in it- right now it just sounds like you are mocking my King. WTF.

The abomination is available on Harry’s cd “Your Songs” for the most part it is lovely. But skip track 3 just skip it.
